• Passanger's Iphone goes up in smoke on a plane in Australia
• Iphone was smoking while the plane was landing
• Authorities checked the phone
• Werent sure exactly when the phone started smoking 
• This may have been cause because the passenger kept the airplane mode on and didnt turn their phone off.
• Nobody knows for sure, but there is a possibility that it was the pressure that made it smoke.
• This has happened before, not too long ago a Droid user was talking on the phone, and his phone had exploded and caused him physical damage

• Last month Lamar Smith from texas introduced a bill called SOPA (The Online Piracy Act)
• Congress is thinking about censoring the internet
• Many people dont think it will happen because a lot complication would happen if the bill is passed
• If congress passes the law social networking sites such as facebook, tumblr, twitter, etc will be censored. 
• Other countries such as China, and Iran have no access to the websites mentioned above

Four Day Weekend

        This week, many schools had a four day weekend. Wednesday, I came home to relax for a little bit, and eat lunch with my mom. I took a nap and once I woke up my friend Sara came over to go out. We met up with people around town and later we went to Friday's.

We were there for a while, and came back to Wood-Ridge. There we saw more people and then I had to be home at 11. I came home passed out and woke up really late the next day. I was blogging all day, and then at night me and my friend Jenny walked to Donkin Donuts in Heights. 

On our way we saw a lot of people, and the walk was pretty long. On our way back I saw some of my other friends and we were just talking for a bit. Me and Jenny came back to my house and were just talking until her mom picked her up late. I didn't go to sleep until late, then I was really tired and went to bed around 4 am. I woke up the next morning and made myself breakfast. I relaxed once again, and later my mom brought me home some Qdoba. She brought me a vegetarian burrito, probably one of the best things. 

Later that night I went out and met up with people again. We got some pizza and walked around while talking. I didnt ge home until later. That was probably one of the most boring nights from the four day weekend. Saturday I woke up and my parents brought me to Ihop I got soup, french toasts, and a strawberry milkshake. 

Later my mom dropped me off to pick up my stuff, because later I was sleepingover my friends house from another town. I got ready, got my stuff, and my mom dropped me off to her house. Once I got there we went to the courts and played basketball. We came back to her house and got money and walked to Wendys. It was a far walk, and it was very cold out. Once we got back, we played xbox, and ate junk food. We were talking for the rest of the night until we both fell asleep. I woke up the next morning, to her mom telling me my dad was outside. He just came from the gym to pick me up. We drove back home, and my dad cooked for me my favorite meal. The rest of the day I was just relaxing, watching tv, and taking naps.










This class was fun, the only thing I would change are the assigned computers, and not presenting the tech articles.

• The deal will be  around $10,000,000- $15,000,000 
• Itll be distributed by Dinsey and co-founded by the Disney website and Youtube
• It will be based on original animated video series 
• Disney has lost over $300,000,000 in the last four quarters 
• Disney is desperate to animate its viewers and gain popularity again
• Youtube has also wanted to come together with Disney 
• They are both important allys 
• Youtube attracts younger generations, although itll be preferable that the user is over the age of 13, many kids surf the web at a younger age

Mac's invading business world?

• According to many people, it has been shown that macs have increased their popularity.
• A recent survey showed that many employees now are bringing mac computers into the office.
• Some view Mac devices as too expensive, and the setup is different, and they choose PC over it.
• Employees seem to not care, and as the time passes the number of not only employees but other office workers seem to be owning a Mac device.
• Companies are now testing Apple devices, and deciding wether all workers should start using only Apple products.

New Android

Galaxy Nexus is the name of the latest version of Android phones.It hit the markets in Hong Kong today. It is also known as "the ice scream sandwhich." Every Android design is named after a dessert. It has a 5 megapixel camera NS 1080 HD video capture playback. It is 8.9 millimeters thick, its design also has a curve on the buttom.This phone will come out in November in US, Europe, and Asia.

Was the Iphone 4S disappointing?
Some people do believe it was but its been said that there were over a million Iphones sold in the 24 hours they came out. There were many rumors that instead of the Iphone 4S there would be instead an Iphone 5g. Some referred this as a letdown and a stumble. The numbers of it sold was still outstanding. The Iphone 4S looks exactly like the Iphone 4g that was released 16 months ago. Although the 4S has faster processors, upgrades, imporved antenas, and more camera pixels. Iphone 4S will still continue to be one of the best smart phones on the market although it disappointed many people cause it looks exactly from last years phone, how will the others know they have the new Iphone if they both look exactly the same. So afterall is it a let down or a success?

The Future Of Laptops

Back when desktops first came out people fancied them, and were usually very expensive. Also less people owned their own computers. Technology has advanced a lot throughout a small amount of time. Laptops are now a days  very popular, and more efficient than desktops because people can go to their local cafe and without having to bring a monitor they can easily enter the web with wifi. Now most people own computers, and in school a lot of work is now assigned with online educative websites such as google docs, study island, and turnitin.com. Also new gadgets such as the kindle fire, iPad, and iPhones technology is making improvements to create their new devices at a faster, and thinner level. This does not mean that vendors are done with new ideas. The following are a few things future laptops will have

• battery life of 12-14 hours
• high speed processors 
• thinner
• lighter
• laser keypad 
• low voltage chips(more powerful faster laptops) 
• memory problems could then be solved in thinner computers
• OS changes

By the time this new laptops come out competitors will be rising, and laptops that are now around $1,000 would then lower their prices to $800 or even discontinued due to this new technology.

What I did over the weekend

Over the weekend I went to Broadway and saw the play Phantom of the Opera with my sister and parents. It started from 8-11. I never been to Broadway before, the play was quite interesting and boring sometimes but overall I really liked the play.

Saturday I went to the mall with my friend and walked around town for a little after when I got home. The mall was packed, and I got jambajuice.

Sunday I went to the city with my sister and dad. We walked around downtown, went to the village, got some Starbucks, and spent most of our time in Strand book store.

 On our way to Starbucks we saw Nina Dobrev from Vampire diaries come out of the store Puma. In Strand I picked up a Stephen King book, and got this cool pen. Later at night we drove back home.

You can now get a new device called Chumby 8. This device is only $128 and you cane other get it in black or red. It is an exclusive but what exactly does it do? The Chumby 8 is a photo frame/ alarm/ clock/table hybrid. The Chumby 8 runs many apps, and you can put it on your kitchen counter or anywhere you're comfortable. It is small, and petite. This device has an alarm clock, frames photos, lets you access Facebook, or twitter, and has a media player. It is 8 inches and can let you listen to your pandora radio, weather forecast and so on. This can be on your lap like an iPad and stay on the kitchen cabinet or bedroom. It is light, and lets you access your favorite social networking sites quickly for a low price.

On October 4th Apple will be releasing the Iphone 5g. There has been rumors that Apple will create 2 new Iphones in the near future. One will be a complete different model and the other is supposed to be the same model as the Iphone 4g and will be called Iphone 4g plus. It's been said that the Iphone 5g will be a thinner and faster model than the Iphone 4g, it can hold 14 hours of battery. Many people have also said that a third-generation Ipad will come over before the end of the year if not next year. Apple is in no rush as it has been said to replace their models. Ipads have a been a big succes to Apple, and it's been stated that in 2015 apple will end up selling nearly 150 million Ipads. Competitors are aware of this and many will try and compete with Apple. Finally a new white model of the Ipod touch will be coming out soon.

My name is Camila and I am a freshman at WRHS. I like summer time, food, the beach, music, and long car rides. I dislike winter time, waking up early, spiders, and waiting. I listen to music a lot and i like bands such as Brand New, City and Colour, Wavves, and Coldplay. Finally my favorite subject is Biology. I  live with both of my parents and I have two older sisters. One sister attends college in Connecticut, and my other sister just graduated and is nominated to go to Peace Corps soon. I also have three close friends that i trust with everything, and share everything with. My favorite movies are Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Donnie Darko, The Notebook, and 500 Days Of Summer.
